The Room Table by Studio goons began as a bespoke collaboration with a client who needed a functional family coffee table for her living room - low enough for children to sit and draw comfortably, yet open enough for the dog to lie underneath and move around, resulting, after several iterations, in a piece that’s both sculptural and practical, with strong, sturdy legs that subtly vary for an architectural rhythm and an asymmetrical tabletop finished with gentle, child-safe corners; designed in Paris, France, it works beautifully as a designer coffee table for contemporary homes and can also be elevated to work-table height for a flexible surface.
