The Standard Console is the primary example of goons’ design language. It was one of the first pieces that was made and sold from our studio, and therefore is a foundational form that informs our style and ethos. By building this frame, we built goons. The console’s design is simple: its table is supported by zigzag legs, equally geometric and playful. From the proportion of the leg to the precision of the construction, this piece emulates our studio’s approach to strong, unique, architectural furniture. The Standard Console lends itself to custom dimensions, and has five sister designs: Single Bench (petit), Single Bench (grand), Double Bench, Striped Oak Bench, and Striped Console.
