The Foundation Console reimagines our studio’s foundational forms. It is a continuation of core goons design, employing our techniques in a new context. Our iconic zigzag legs are extended vertically to create a fuller silhouette. Instead of serving as freestanding legs, they wrap the full perimeter of the console. This new shape allowed us to develop an intermediary shelf. This shelf, accessible on only one side, renders the piece two-sided, and allows for a multitude of placements and uses. This piece is the beginning of our extension into a series of free-standing shelving.
