The Form Stool developed from the studio’s early material research and spatial studies. Constructed from reclaimed architectural wood and informed by a series of iterative drawings, the piece investigates the relationship between rectilinear structure and softened volume.
The composition combines defined planes and angular edges with a rounded seat and aggregated massing. A clustered leg configuration forms a concentrated base, establishing visual weight and structural stability while maintaining a sculptural quality.
A whitewashed finish unifies the surface without obscuring the grain, preserving the material’s texture and history. The balance between geometry and curvature defines the stool’s character—measured, grounded, and architecturally resolved.
The Form Stool functions as seating, a bedside element, or a side table. The related Form Entry Table extends the same formal system at a taller scale.
