The Flat Pack Chair exemplifies the design language of studio goons: namely, our angular ease and exact playfulness. Originally designed for a show in Los Angeles, this chair could fit into a flat pack box, fly internationally as a carry-on item, and be assembled on site. Though the chair no longer fits those dimensions, its simplicity, strength, and functionality remain. Its visible joints inform the piece’s fabrication and position in a room. Four Flat Pack Chairs fit perfectly around our Simple Table, and have come to be known as the “goons Dining Set.”
